First Look at ‘Young Woman and The Sea’ starring Daisy Ridley Released
The first images from Daisy Ridley’s new film, Young Woman and The SeaFirst I have been released. Based on the 2022 book Young Woman and the Sea: How Trudy Ederle Conquered the English Channel and Inspired the World by Glenn Stout, the movie is directed by Joaquim Rønning.
The movie will follow the daring journey of the first woman, Gertrude “Trudy” Ederle (Ridley) to ever swim the 21-mile swim across the English Channel in 1926. It will be released in select theaters on May 31.
I wonder if they still plan to release this to Disney+. I know that was the original plan, but with it being released in select theaters now I’m not sure.
