Disney Closes Out CinemaCon with Look at Upcoming 2024-2025 Slate

Walt Disney Studios presented its upcoming 2024-2025 slate at CinemaCon yesterday, April 11 in Las Vegas. The presentation featured first look at a number of their upcoming movies, exclusive details on movies currently in production, and so much more.

During the presentation, attendees were shown 13 minutes from 20th Century Studios, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which opens in theaters on May 10. Amy Poehler took the stage to chat all things Inside Out 2 and to present the first 35 minutes from the animated pic.

Kevin Feige was up next to talk all things Marvel. First from Marvel was an appearance from Anthony Mackie to talk Captain America: Brave New World and to share the first footage from the movie. Feige and director Shawn Levy then talked Deadpool & Wolverine and shared footage from the upcoming movie releasing in July. Florence Pugh videod in from the set of Thunderbolts* to share how filming has been going on the new movie.

Dwayne Johnson also made a suprirse appearance to talk Moana 2, which is set to be released this coming November! I was kind of hoping Disney would have dropped some big news during its presentation, but it stayed on the calmer side. I wonder if they are saving all their goodies for D23 later this year.
