Disney+ Hosts Launch Event for ‘The Acolyte’

The launch event of Disney+’s new series, The Acolyte was held last night, May 23 in Los Angeles. Held at the El Capitan Theatre, Dafne Keen, Carrie-Anne Moss, Lee Jung-jae, Rebecca Henderson, Leah Brady, Dean-Charles Chapman, Amandla Stenberg, Lauren Brady, Margarita Levieva, Manny Jacinto, Leslye Headland, Jodie Turner-Smith and Charlie Barnett were all on hand for the event.

Set in the Star Wars universe, “an investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems….”

The new series will start on Tuesday, June 4, with the first two episodes. Who’s excited for the new series?
