Camila Mendes Launches Production Company with Rachel Matthews

Camila Mendes has started her own production company. The star has teamed up with her good friend, Rachel Matthews to launch Honor Role.

Deadline is reporting, the company is a “feature film and TV production company focused on dynamic, character-driven stories crafted by sharp filmmakers with a distinct point-of-view.” The site went on to say, “Honor Role has partnered with Tricky Knot, a new entertainment financing and development company supporting the next generation of independent, talent-led production companies.  As part of this partnership, Honor Role will have its own development and production fund. Mendes and Matthews’ slate will consist of projects for the actresses to produce and in some cases star.”

Its first film to be released is called, Griffin in Summer and it is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this coming Thursday, June 6. I’m excited to see what else they have in store for us. These two are not newcomers when it comes to working together. The two were executive producers on Mendes’ recent romantic comedy, Upgraded, which was a great movie. If you have not seen it go check it out on Prime Video now!
