Perrie Covers COSMOPOLITAN

Perrie is on the cover of COSMOPOLITAN. The singer is on the cover to promote her solo music. Highlights from her interview are below.

On finding freedom after breaking up with Zayn Malik: “In the 18 months that I was single, I made up for it. It was a really fun time. I went out all the time, I got to live selfishly, which I’d never done, and I had a sense of freedom. I needed that year to grow, learn and explore. It really made me who I am now”.

On her relationship with former Little Mix member, Jesy Nelson: “We don’t talk, and haven’t done for a long time. It’s really sad, it’s heartbreaking. But sometimes these things happen and people decide they want to part ways, and that’s absolutely fine. I would rather it went differently, but you can’t control how things go.”

On her solo album: “I love singing and I love making music. I’m so proud of my album, but subconsciously, it was really scary for me. I’ve had to learn to be my own support system, to find the strength and confidence from within. I’m not a naturally confident person, even though I might seem like it.”
