REVIEW: #FXSDCC Returns with New Activations and Photo Ops for Fans
BeautifulBallad got the chance to check out FX’s immersive activation at San Diego Comic-Con today, July 26. The activation featured activities and photo opportunities with some of the networks favorite shows.
The Bear, made its Comic-Con debut with a restaurant pop-up where fans are taken inside The Bear restaurant. Once inside, they are a number of photo opportunities and, while supplies last, fans are gifted exclusive merchandise from the series. This pop-up was definitely interesting, but I wish it had featured a tad bit more.
Next up was the Fearless Hellevator. Inspired by the American Horror Story universe, fans are taken through some iconic moments from the universe and are introduced to the world of Grotesquerie, the new Ryan Murphy horror series premiering this fall.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and What We Do in the Shadows have two massive photo opportunities for fans who attend. What We Do in the Shadows also gives fans a chance to design their own umbrella, but the line can get very long so be prepared.
All in the FX activation is good for those who love a great photo opportunity. With only 2 actual activations, it may not be worth standing in line if you are looking for actual activities. The lines for the activations can get very long, and this is after you stand in line waiting to get in. However, if taking tons of photos is your thing, like me, this activation is for you.
