Disney Unveils New Goodies from Live Action Film Slate, Pixar, & Disney Animation at D23 Brazil

Walt Disney Studios kicked off D23 Brazil – A Disney Experience yesterday, November 8 in Sao Paulo. The first day consisted of special presenations focued on what’s to come from Disney live action, Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Rachel Zegler recorded a special video message for fans before a brand new trailer for Snow White was unveiled. The movie will be released to theaters on March 21, 2025. The first image from Disney’s live action, Lilo & Stitch was released, which will hit theaters on May 23, 2025. Jared Leto appeared via video message to treat fans to a special look at TRON: Ares, which opens in theaters October 10, 2025.

Pixar unveiled special looks at its new series, Dream Production and Win or Lose, while also revealing the trailer for its next new animated movie, Elio, which opens in theaters June 13, 2025. The audience was also treated to the first look at Hoppers, releasing in 2026 and the first image from Toy Story 5, releasing June of 2026, and “this time around it’s Toy meets Tech. Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs get exponentially harder when they go head to head with this all-new threat to playtime.”

Pixar had one more goody up its sleeve when they announced the Parr family would be back for Incredibles 3. “Fans were delighted to see first-hand that their favorite Super-family have another adventure in the works.”

The last people to take the stage was Disney Animation. Auli‘i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson appeared via video to share a sneak peek from Moana 2. It was also announced that Shakira would return in Zootopia 2 as pop sensation, Gazelle. The sequel to the global phenomenon sees detectives Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who turns the mammal metropolis upside down. Fans got a special look at the film, which hits theaters in November 2025.

Last but not least, it was announced that Ice Age 6 is in production! Manny, Diego, Ellie, Sid, Scrat and Baby Scrat will return for the new movie. More details surrounding the movie will be released at a later date.
