Stars Land On The Cover Of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue

Zendaya, Glen Powell, and Sydney Sweeney have landed on Vanity Fair’s coveted Hollywood Issue. The trio is joined by Nicole Kidman, Danielle Deadwyler, Dev Patel, Zoe Saldaña, Bill Skarsgård, Jonathan Bailey, Josh O’Connor, Ncuti Gatwa, and Lisa for the 31st annual issue. Highlights from their interview are below.

Zendaya on whether it is weird to act alongside boyfriend and actor, Tom Holland: “It’s actually strangely comfortable. It’s like second nature, if anything. You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside. I love working with him. He’s so talented, and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things one thousand percent, even if he’s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him. It feels pretty normal. That’s how we met. Literally, at a chemistry read.”

Glen on whether he is purposely keeping his career open to all genres and budgets: “When it comes to that, the thing I’ve really tried to chase is a feeling, like, ‘I hope I have it in me,’ right? I’m trying to do ambitious things that scare me a little bit, because when they scare you, it means that you have to rise to the occasion.”

Sydney on advice she would offer her younger self: “I actually think about this often. I go back and forth. One way is, ‘Sydney, don’t give them any part of you, only talk work.’ Then there’s another part of me where I wish that I could have started off and been so openly me that there’s no questioning things that I say. I just tried to hide who I was for so long because I wanted a little bit of myself for myself. I didn’t want to give it all away.”
