Glen Powell Films ‘The Running Man’ Outside Wembley Stadium

Glen Powell was spotted filming scenes for his new movie, The Running Man in London this past Tuesday, November 12. The actor was seen running outside of Wembley Stadium as he shot the Edgar Wright directed remake.

Based on the Stephen King novel, and the 1987 movie, the movie follows Ben Richards (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the original movie, who will now be plated by Powell), a desperate man who participates in violent reality show called The Running Man in order to win enough money to revive his gravely ill daughter. The show follows Richards being chased by numerous hunters sent to kill him.

You can see photos of him filming here. Based on his Instagram story today, November 14, it looks like he may now be filming inside the stadium, which as a soccer fan, is so cool! FYI, our U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team will be playing England in that very stadium on November 30, 2024 at 12:20pm EST!
