Thomas Brodie-Sangster & Maia Mitchell to Return for Season 2 of ‘The Artful Dodger’

After almost a year of waiting, Disney+ has finally announced news regarding its hit series, The Artful Dodger. The streaming platform announced today, Novembr 20, they would be renewing the show for a second season.

Thomas Brodie-Sangster will return as Jack Dawkins, and will be joined in the second season by his costars, David Thewlis as Norbert Fagin and Maia Mitchell as Lady Belle Fox.

The second season will be “picking up where the heart’s desires of Dodger, Fagin, and Lady Belle left off, promising more cunning thievery, snappy humor, life-and-death surgeries, and romance with a twist.”

Filming will begin in 2025 at Callan Park in Sydney. Apparently, there will be number of fun cameos in the second season, so it will be interesting to see who joins the cast as production begins next year.

This was one of my favorite shows to be released in 2023! I’m happy Disney+ recognized the series potential and reneed it for another season. For those who have yet to check out the show, go do it now on Disney+ or Hulu! You won’t be disappointed.
