The statement goes on to say, “Reflecting Miley’s passion for gender equality, serving homeless populations, and creating safe spaces, we partnered with DWC to redesign their Day Center on Skid Row and the residence lobby that welcomes women into permanent housing. The Day Center renovations make this essential space—serving over 5,000 women annually with meals, hygiene, and resources—safer and more welcoming. The lobby redesign complements this effort, creating a warm, community-centered space that reflects DWC’s commitment to stability and dignity through permanent housing.

This project is inspired by and dedicated to the women in Miley’s life, especially her mom, Tish, and her late grandmother, Loretta. While this partnership began with these transformative renovations, the relationship between the Miley Cyrus Foundation and DWC will continue to grow, expanding DWC’s ability to provide housing, employment, and wellness services to even more women.”

Keep using your platform for good, Miley.
