Florence Pugh Shoots Scenes for ‘East of Eden’

Florence Pugh didn’t get the weekend off as continued filming her new limited series, East of Eden earlier this week in Oamaru, New Zealand. Florence was seen at the Oamaru Steam and Rail Society’s railway yard filming scenes alongside her costar, Christopher Abbott.

You can see photos of the pair filming here. Production on the movie, which began this past October, is set to wrap this coming March.

Based on the 1952 novel by Nobel Prize–winning author John Steinbeck, the seven-episode limited series, “…follows the multi-generational Trask family saga explored from the perspective of the standout female character Cathy Ames, played by Pugh.”

Pugh and Abbott are also joined in the series by Mike Faist, Hoon Lee, and Tracy Letts. I can’t wait for this to be released!
