Selena Gomez took to the streets of Los Angeles yesterday, January 16, to help those affected by the wildfires. The actress was seen handing out food to those in need alongside her fiancé, Benny Blanco.
Gomez’s home thankfully was left unscathed by the fires, but so many homes were destroyed all across Los Angeles. So many people lost everything, so its great to see her helping those in her community.
If you too would like to help there are a variety of charities you can donate to. Selena’s bestie, Taylor Swift, shared the the 10 charities she donated to which included 211 LA, California Community Foundation Fund, Direct Relief, Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Los Angeles Unified School District Education Foundation Emergency Relief Fund, MusiCares, and Pasadena Educational Foundation Eaton Fire Response Fund.
