Nick Frost Rumored To Be Playing Hagrid In Upcoming Harry Potter Reboot

The upcoming Harry Potter reboot may have found its Rubeus Hagrid. Nick Frost is apparently in talks to play the Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts.

According to Deadline, “The latest major piece appears to be British actor-comedian Nick Frost, who is nearing a deal to play half-giant Rubeus Hagrid, Deadline has learned.”

HBO remains pretty quiet on the casting. However, if this indeed true, Frost will join previously cast John Lithgow, Janet McTeer, and Paapa Essiedu.
